Tip: Use the DOL Prevailing Wage Schedule link (opens in a new tab or window) if you need help in verifying the rates.
Note: If the W.C. Code you need is not in the drop-down list, select Request Additional Workers' Comp. Code and then follow these instructions on requesting a new code. When your request is complete, you will be brought back to complete the creation of the new item.
To refer to the meanings of status codes and actions associated with them, please see this page.
If the Employee is not in the Select Employee for Labor Item drop-down, select the Create Additional Employee/Trade option and you will be forwarded to an area to enter the Employee information.
Note: Notice that this section contains an area to add a Non-Trade Service Assignment as a labor item. Please see below for further information on this section.
After this employee is saved, it will be added to your Employee Inventory, and you will be returned back to creating a Labor Item for this employee.
When creating a new labor item with an Employee not in your inventory, the Add Employee screen contains a section where you can select the Technician designation as a Non-Trade Service Assignment. Click Save Employee to go on to the next screen, where you will add further detail on this item.
In the next screen, you will select Technician as the Trade and enter a justification in the open text field provided. Then enter the proposed rate/hour data and the estimated total hours for this employee on this contract. Click the Create Labor Item button to finish.
